UNITY PARADE
The Wa Sung Service Club successfully participated in the 1987 St. Patrick's Unity Parade, an annual pageant for ethnic groups. Walter Chinn, Executive Director, coordinated the parade with its 175 entries. Josephine Hui was chairperson of the Wa Sung float, which won second prize for ethnic participation.
At the 1989 Unity Parade, the Wa Sung Firehouse Engine won first places as the Best Novelty Group and Best Senior Marching Unit.
