Wa Sung Feeds the Frontline

This Sunday, April 12th would have marked Wa Sung’s 64th annual Easter Pancake Breakfast. Every year, we have over 1500+ people in the local community that attend this event held at the Lincoln Recreation Center. However, in support of the resolution of COVID-19 with Shelter-in Place and the social distancing measures placed by the local government, this event has been cancelled.  The Coronavirus has made a severe impact on the Oakland Chinatown businesses and now is the time that we need to all stand together to support them. With that in mind, we have created this fundraiser as an ongoing effort to work with local restaurants in Oakland Chinatown to provide delivered lunches to the heroic frontline healthcare workers and first responders in the surrounding area.   Our hope is that with the funds, we will be able to purchase meals to be delivered weekly to health workers, firefighters and the police officers in our community.  It's our way to say THANK YOU and show our support to them. Thank you for donating as this will put a smile to the many healthcare workers and frontline first responders! We are fortunate for this opportunity to help. We’re ALL in this together!
